GTC FAN OF THE WEEK

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR GTC SERVICE SUBSCRIPTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

The GTC Fan of the Week Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored and administered solely by Glenwood Telephone Company (“GTC”), Glenwood, Georgia.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of Georgia age 18 or older at the time of entry.

You do not have to be a GTC customer to enter or win.

Each entry must relate to the applicable Wheeler County Bulldogs varsity football game. The photograph may be taken at the stadium, immediately around the game venue, at a tailgate or other game-related gathering, or in another setting that clearly demonstrates support for Wheeler County during the applicable game.

Purchasing a ticket or paid admission to a football game is not required to enter.

Employees of GTC, members of their immediate households, and individuals directly involved in judging or administering the Contest are not eligible to win.

An individual may win the GTC Fan of the Week prize once per football season.

Photos may include children and other family members; however, the entrant must be at least 18 years old. If a submitted photograph prominently features a minor, the entrant must be the minor’s parent or legal guardian or have permission from the minor’s parent or legal guardian to submit the photograph.

3. Contest Entry Period

A separate Contest will be conducted in connection with each designated Wheeler County Bulldogs varsity football game promoted by GTC.

Unless otherwise stated in that week’s GTC Fan of the Week announcement, entries open on game day and close at 12:00 Noon Eastern Time on the day following the game.

GTC’s records will determine whether an entry was received on time.

4. How to Enter

During the Contest Entry Period, take a photograph showing your Wheeler County Bulldog game-day spirit.

Submit the photograph using one of the entry methods identified in GTC’s weekly Contest announcement, which may include:

• Posting the photograph publicly on Facebook or Instagram, tagging GTC and including #GTCFanOfTheWeek; or

• Posting the photograph in the comments of GTC’s official Fan of the Week post.

Limit one entry per person per game.

No purchase, payment, game ticket, GTC service subscription, or other consideration is required to enter or win.

If entering through a public social-media post, the entrant is responsible for ensuring that applicable privacy settings allow GTC to view the entry.

5. Entry Requirements

Entries must be appropriate for a family and community audience.

GTC may disqualify an entry that, in its reasonable judgment:

• Contains obscene, offensive, discriminatory, threatening, dangerous, or unlawful material;

• Promotes illegal activity;

• Infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;

• Contains materially misleading or fraudulent information;

• Was submitted without necessary permission; or

• Otherwise conflicts with the family-friendly nature of the promotion.

By entering, the entrant represents that the entrant owns or has permission to submit the photograph and has obtained appropriate permission from identifiable persons appearing in it.

6. Winner Selection

This is a judged photo contest. Winners are not selected at random.

Eligible entries will be evaluated by GTC or judges designated by GTC using the following criteria:

• Bulldog Spirit — 40%

• Creativity — 30%

• Game-Day Atmosphere — 20%

• Overall Photo Quality and Presentation — 10%

The eligible entry receiving the highest overall evaluation will be named the GTC Fan of the Week.

Facebook or Instagram likes, reactions, comments, shares, views, or other social-media engagement do not determine the winner.

In the event of a tie, the entry receiving the higher Bulldog Spirit score will prevail. If a tie remains, the Creativity score will serve as the next tiebreaker.

Judging decisions are final.

7. Prize

Each winner will receive a GTC Fan Prize Pack containing GTC and/or community promotional merchandise and other items selected by GTC.

Prize contents may vary from week to week.

Unless a different amount is disclosed in the applicable weekly announcement, the Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize will not exceed $125.

Prizes are nontransferable, have no cash redemption value, and may not be exchanged for cash. GTC may substitute an item of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.

The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes or other obligations resulting from acceptance of the prize.

8. Winner Notification

GTC will generally announce the winner through its official social-media channels following judging.

GTC may also contact the potential winner through the social-media account used to enter.

The potential winner may be required to provide reasonable information necessary to confirm eligibility and arrange prize pickup or delivery.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within seven (7) days, is determined to be ineligible, or declines the prize, GTC may award the prize to the next highest-scoring eligible entry.

9. Photo Permission

Entrants retain ownership of their photographs.

By entering, the entrant grants GTC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, repost, display, and share the submitted photograph for purposes reasonably related to:

• The GTC Fan of the Week promotion;

• Announcing or recognizing entrants and winners;

• GTC’s social-media accounts and website; and

• GTC’s community and Wheeler County football-related promotional activities.

GTC may identify a winner by name and/or social-media username when announcing or promoting the Contest.

GTC does not acquire ownership of the submitted photograph solely because it was entered in the Contest.

10. Publicity Permission

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for GTC to use the winner’s name, submitted photograph, likeness as appearing in the submitted photograph, and general hometown/community in reasonable publicity concerning the GTC Fan of the Week promotion without additional compensation.

11. Releases and Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree, to the extent permitted by law, to release and hold harmless GTC and its officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from claims arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize.

GTC is not responsible for entries that are lost, deleted, delayed, incorrectly tagged, inaccessible because of privacy settings, or unavailable because of technical failures or social-media platform issues.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive any right or liability that cannot legally be waived.

12. Facebook and Instagram Disclaimer

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Information and entries submitted for the Contest are being provided to GTC and not to Facebook or Instagram.

By participating, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from claims arising from or related to the Contest to the extent permitted by law.

Use of Facebook and Instagram remains subject to the applicable platform’s terms and policies.

13. Wheeler County Schools Disclaimer

This Contest is sponsored and administered solely by Glenwood Telephone Company.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, the GTC Fan of the Week Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with Wheeler County Schools, the Wheeler County Board of Education, or their employees, coaches, athletic programs, or representatives.

References to Wheeler County, the Bulldogs, football games, or related activities are used to identify the community event associated with the Contest.

Participation in or attendance at a Wheeler County Schools event does not constitute an endorsement of GTC or this promotion by Wheeler County Schools.

14. General Conditions

GTC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who attempts to manipulate, interfere with, abuse, or undermine the Contest.

GTC may modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel a particular week’s Contest if circumstances outside GTC’s reasonable control prevent the Contest from being conducted as intended.

Any material change affecting an active Contest will be communicated through GTC’s official social-media channels.

GTC’s interpretation of these Official Rules and decisions regarding eligibility and judging are final, subject to applicable law.

15. Governing Law

The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Acceptance of Rules

Submission of an entry constitutes the entrant’s acknowledgment that the entrant has read, understands, and agrees to these Official Rules.
